December 2025 is free-choice month, each member gets to pick a book of their choice.
My pick is The Sailor Who Fell From Grace with the Sea by Yukio Mishima. It was recommended to me by Liz a hardcore Mishima fan. According to her, it is a good starter and introduction, not only to the writer’s bibliography and universe, but also to Japenese literature. A short and, rather easy, read that happens in the sunny and sweaty season, to contrast and to balance with The Melancholy of Resistance.
